Position Description
The Visual Presentation team is the creative force behind our retail experience, bringing forth best practices and new concepts in visual merchandising within our stores. We are focused on ensuring presentation excellence at all company-owned & partner locations around the globe.
As a Visual Presentation Specialist, you will ensure presentation excellence at all Trek Bicycle Direct and Partner store locations within Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. You will be accountable for launching new stores and maintaining existing stores with the highest level of visual merchandising and brand standards.
Position Responsibilities
75% Store Visits:
Travel to Direct store locations to execute floor set plans, ensure completion of marketing updates, and assist with other visual roll-outs throughout the year. Travel to all new store openings and remodels for fixture & graphic installation, merchandising, and implementation of all visual elements.
10% Visual Planning & Merchandising:
Collaborate with Planning and Inventory Management teams to monitor sales performance and inventory levels, and adjust product placement and merchandising strategy per location. Audit stores to ensure accuracy of floor set vision and execution of the Visual Merchandising Directive, always driving consistency.
10% Project Management:
Manage timelines and budgets for all visual presentation aspects of new store openings, remodels, and floor sets. Maintain relationships with key fixture and print vendors including ordering, tracking, and troubleshooting.
5% Training & Development:
Conduct annual staff training at all Direct & Partner store locations. Ensure store teams understand the Trek global brand vision and North America initiatives. Work with Store Managers to assign, train, and develop Visual DRI's per location. Collaborate with the North American Visual Team by participating in weekly conf. calls and semi-annual visits to Trek's HQ in Waterloo, WI.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Management or related discipline is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in visual merchandising and/or project management in an established organization or retail department.
Ability and desire to travel when necessary (approximately 75% of your time).
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Skills in SketchUp and/or Revit are strongly preferred.

Thorough understanding of the retail environment, product assortment, and location specific challenges.
