Position Description:
The website merchandiser is all about retention and conversion, with a love of metrics and analysis, and the skills to build this role into the future. The best person for this role likes working across teams to make small and large-scale improvements to how trekbikes.com is merchandised. They're great at both setting goals and grinding out the work to test and implement changes to achieve the goals. No detail is too small to the ideal candidate, as long as it builds momentum toward their site conversion goals.
Position Responsibilities:
Merchandise pages to improve conversion rates.
Ensure technical compatibility of cross-merchandised products.
Optimize content on category pages to reduce bounce rates.
Manage content checks for integrity of product availability.
Work with product managers to optimize cross-merchandising on product and category pages.
Identify and provide feedback to web team about infrastructure opportunities.
Collaborate with social and email teams to focus traffic on quality landing pages.
Report weekly, monthly, quarterly focus category performance and identify opportunities to accelerate growth.
Collaborate on marketing projects to optimize on-page experiences as new products and initiatives roll out.
Establish SOP for site merchandising audits.
Establish SOP for product transitions and redirects.
Identify seasonal opportunities and trends.
Grow efficacy of site search by monitoring and analyzing usage.
Monitor and share learnings of user flows on site to optimize consumer funnels.
Position Requirements:
2+ years as a merchandiser at a medium-sized ecommerce company.
Bachelor's in business, marketing, ecommerce, or relatable major.
Technical bicycle knowledge is a major plus, but not required.
Familiarity and experience with Hybris is a plus.
